Still loving mine, with the Addition of a "free flowing" mid pipe the thing sounds animal.

Re: CPU scanner

You can get a bluetooth one pretty cheap on ebay that will work with Android/Iphone. If you buy off an Aussie seller you should have it in a couple of days for under $25. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ELM327-V1-5-OBDII-OBD2-Diagnostic-Auto-Car-Scanner-Scan-Tool-Wireless-Bluetooth-/141047775509?pt=AU_Ca...

Re: Thoughts on personalised plates.

I love my plates, silver on black "RX8"
Anything related to car/model is a yes for me.

I can't stand ego plates though e.g anything starting with NVMY or finishing in 2NV.

Just remember most custom plates are easily remembered if you're ever driving like a spanner.

I'll be organizing another Kart/cruise day as soon

There's also the S.A rotors Birthday cruise coming up on the 24th November, but I'll post a bit more info about that later.

Yes but CEL always stays on
I always have my phone on dock in the car (calls/music/nav etc), pending codes can be cleared with a couple presses with Torque for android

So far no CEL, or even pending codes. :D

Re: 12,000km of trouble free motoring, until.....

How many km did you get out of your cat in total? 92K, but I'm guessing I did damage to it with the last engine when it went. $5.5k for a new cat! Mazda is taking the piss!!! Juts gut ur existing cat and problem solved! It was closer to $6K at trade price  As of about an hour ago I'm ...

12,000km of trouble free motoring, until.....

So, I'm only 12,000km into the new engine (90,000 on car, 08 S2 GT) , until suddenly - loss of all power and a CEL. No missfires and still smooth idle, just absolutely nothing over 3,000rpm. Fault codes, P0410 - Secondary air injection system (I thought this code was related to the air pump? Air pum...
