you know wats funny?
when a contractor workng for a small workshop rips out the rx8 head unit... it goes down the sh!t. then the contractor has to pay 5k out of his own pocket to purchase a new one. then has to complete the task he was originally hired to do for free.
basically, im getting a new head unit and my sub and amp installed all for free.
downside is, i had to drive my car around for a day with no stereo, no clock, no aircon (i cant explain that) and the whole center of the dash exposed... including the peice that goes down from ciggie lighter, around the gear stick and to the drink hoder.
its interesting driving with it all exposed and no music.
everything is so much louder. gear roll over noise...omg

Lol nice one. btw the Air con is because the climate control is part of the head unit.
