Is the adapter on the iPhone the same as iPods?

haven't really seen the adapter, but if it's the same like the cable that you use for charging and data/sync, then the iphone is the same as ipod mini (first version), which I assume would also be the same for other ipod variations.

A friend of mime have the 2G Iphone and borrowed my nano cable to charge. I assume the cable is the same on the 2G and 3G model.

yep it is the same iv been using my old ipod cable for my iphone(3G)...

thats kool..
but yea i found out the iphone is crap coz u cant really do anyfing if ur not on the net which is pretty stupid, which i am not gonna get nomore..
cheerz buddy im just gonna get the ipod nano and buy the adapter wif stand: P cheerz

man the jack will definitely fit, I had a nano and iphone in my mx5 and they both ran off the same cable. cheers
