Did Broadford on the weekend. Wow! what a track.
Updated best times at all the tracks I have been to with the BP engine and the tyres I was on.

Calder Park 1:11 (Achilles 123S 20% worn - Kumho V70A K90 Compound didn't go any faster)
Winton 1:40.7 (old Pirelli slicks dh compound)
Sandown 1:30.5 (Achilles 123S 50% worn - Kumho V70A K90 Compound didn't go any faster)
Phillip Island 2:00.6 (Kumho V70A K90 Compound 50% worn - Tyres still had good grip, I just didn't do very well there)
Broadford 1:10.3 (Kumho V70A K90 Compound now completely worn smooth past the tread indicators and heat cycled out)

Who did you do Bradford through? We used to do there a fair bit but the bikes cracked the shits and shut us out.

Alfa Romeo Owners Club do a club championship round there every year. They are very particular about us not going off the track and kicking up the dirt. A couple of warnings and you are off the track for the day! I know of a couple of other clubs that also run a round of their club championships there. Whilst club members get priority, you don't have to be a club member to enter. I'm an Alfa member, but my friend that came along with me is a Toyota Car Club member, and I was chatting to a few MX5 car club members as well.

Bob I definitely recommend you have a crack when you can. The track is fantastic! Very hard on the lh side tyres but unlike anything else that I have driven in Victoria. PIARC also run a hill climb there in reverse rotation so the rh side gets a work out.

Phillip Island for sheer speed and the courage required to drive it is still my favorite and Winton for the technical challenge it provides comes a close second. I have to say now having driven Broadford, I think I have a 3rd must drive track! Bind corners over crests, up hill sections, down hill sections, dips......... it is just so much fun!

I have to say, Bradford was probably my favourite over Winston for all the points you raised about the track, its just that little bit more technical than Winton (you need a serious set of balls to get the most out of some of those sections)

Just finished up at SMSP South Circuit, managed a 1.06.8282 i think there is a lot more speed here, but i was running Hankook RS3's instead of a softer semi slick. But was quicker than i managed 2 years ago in a supercharged 86 with Toyo R888's (but no other supporting mods and that was my first time around the track)

You were bloody quick mate. Great job. 1:43 is a ripper time. Hell, I was stoked with a 1:47 on stock car with street tires. You should see my "Mod list" to drop times for next year. Lol
