What work did you do on your car today?

Post by Kustom » Sat Jun 25, 2011 1:20 pm

Hey guys,

Had one of these threads on my previous car forums and I think its a great idea, basically just post up what you did to your car, wether it be a wash, clean detail or put on new wheels.

It may not be good for searching purposes but it's great for getting people active and keeping up to date with what everyones doing.

Mods if you don't like the idea, then go ahead and delete it, no hard feelings lol.

I'll kick it off,

This morning I installed my short shifter and god do i love it. Makes the shifts so much smoother and obviously shorter... can shift so much quicker... its great.

Also gave her a quick spray down at a DIY place on my way home.

Basically I was parked in the carpark, but the other guy was parked on the footpath infront of me. He reversed backward without looking, clipped my front nose. Luckily I was just inside and the manager saw it happen. The guy thought he was in the right (ie: I was barely blocking him in so it was not his fault that he hit me, given that he thought I was parked illegally) so happily gave me all his details. One call to Shannons and my car is getting fixed at the repairer of my choice, and they are going to chase him for the money. As my car was parked he is liable for hitting it. Nothing else matters (though even if it did, its all in my favour, I was parked correctly, he wasn't. According to the store manager is a real problem with people parking where ever they want on his lot)

Free stone chip removal at least :D
