Is it ok to come have a look

My 8 is stock standard so no real need to put it on the dyno - don't want to embarrass myself

Interested to hear some of tgd exhausts being used

The fact that its stock is the absolute perfect reason to get it on the dyno, great opportunity to get baseline data! I wish I had done it before my exhaust.

Seriously your numbers will be similar to mine, maybe more maybe less. Its not a competition! :)

RX8Club SA Dyno Day - Southern HiTech Dyno 29/09

Post by Driffill » Tue Aug 21, 2012 11:18 am

I'm pretty much stock as well, and I'm from Vic, but if I had the chance to join you guys and dyno my 8 I would! Like he said, get a baseline, and have some real data in terms of performance gains for mods.

I was thinking about getting it done when I had my BHR coil kit installed, but Tim's (TPM) dyno was busy that day!

Have fun guys ;)

Exactly guys!

Kev put his stock GT on last dyno day and he was grinning ear to ear with the experience of having his car on the dyno and the results it came out with... its good for baseline data and also to gauge how healthy the engine is... there may be issues which can be seen in the powercurve that your butt dyno cannot tell also!

I think I will come down for a look

It's not the $50 I'm worried about its just not sure if I really need to be told my car has approx 120 kw at the wheels.

Keen to come down and have a look what the mods you have done to your cars have done to the performance though

A stock dyno gives you a baseline for future mods
