Sorry to hear the bad news man. It may be worth stretching the budget and getting it sorted sooner rather than later if it's an option?

Yeah, they're not referring to our engines though. The 13B-MSP has higher compression than the 13B-REW (10.0:1 vs 9.0:1)

Yup... 90's is definitely on the low side... you're only several PSI away from dipping into the 80's which will be a seal failure...

Put it into perspective... 120psi is freshly built engine... you're 26-29psi away from that... 80 is a dead seal... you're only 14 to 11 away from that!

Start saving your pennies porter... you'll be very happy when you have a fresh engine with a mild street port in it! (you'll be making more power than all of us...) well except for when I have my bridgeport done ;)

Compression is related to rpm so your figures need rpm to make sense

What kind of symptoms were you experiencing on the day Porter? The usual ones?

Sorry to hear about the issues mate, kinda makes me nervous now :?

What can u do in the meantime? Run a thicker oil? 20w-50 or something?

Update on my car.

So i got the fuel pump replaced but still having the same issues AFR is running in the 14's.

CAT looks ok apparently, going to have a like into re-flashing the ECU next.

Did you check the fuel filter? John thought it was worth a try.
