Can someone tell me what the deal is regarding having to get the engine rebuilt after 120kms?? I don't understand its only low kms and if its not having any probs why do us rota owners need to go thru such a big cost? Doed everyone do it or it just depends on the car and condition?

only need to rebuild if you have poor compression or hot start issues. Some engines only last 60k, some are on 200k and still going strong. Best bet is get a compression test done to know how healthy your engine is

Can any mechanic do a comp-test and is it really costly? Or time consuming? From reading alot of info on the forum its made me think its the first port of call to get it done otherwise its kinda a dark cloud always wondering if its gonna rain

Need to go to a specialist Rotary mechanic that uses the correct compression tester and graph.
