Nationals 2011 - Wrapup and Thanks!

Post by Vanq » Sun Aug 14, 2011 2:16 pm

Just got back home, and I hope everyone else has a safe journey back as well. Just like to say thanks again for Len and Don's expert marshalling once again, Alan and the crew at RENEW for coming onboard and making the event happen, Luke and the Mazda Community guys for giving us the awesome prize packs and finally Damo and Shannons for sponsoring the timing.

I think we can all agree it was a great day, and I hope the bug has bitten for all our first time trackers!

I'm sure everyone has a ton of photos and videos to share, please upload them somewhere and post them up! I'll be collating all I can and sending it to Mazda to show off :D

Thanks to the fine people that let me slap a camera on their cars as well...the initial footage is fantastic! Over the next few days I'll be cutting this together and putting onto YouTube for everyones enjoyment.

Thanks again everyone, I hope to see you all somewhere for Nationals 2012!!

Your home already! We have about 400kms to go still! It was a good day, lots of track time and my instructor (Allan) was very helpful. I plan on attending next year.

They stopped working lol! After a few hard laps that is, so I had to take it a bit easy after that. Pads are still new, rotors are still good, so have a feeling it might be break fluid. Being old and not taking the heat well.
