Does anyone have any experience with HEL braided lines?

Paul, I went for the Goodridge brake lines on my RX8. Thumbs up from me in terms of quality and performance. Bought them from Goodwin Racing: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Pe ... -1330.html
But the quality of the HEL product looks good as well. Do not forget your braided clutch line while you are at it.

I got the HEL lines...

They were ok, but not great, only minor issues tho, the retaining clip needed modifying (I can't remember if it needed filing or something, but didn't work right from the pack) and also the end fitting on to the hose (in my case) weren't ideal..

One end of the line has a longer connecter on it, and it has a curved end, in my case the curve section wasn't right and fouled against something, tho they were eventually fitted.

IIRC the 'P-clips' supplied with my hoses didn't have a large enough hole for the mounting screw to go thru :(

Thanks guys.
I think, taking your comments on board, I will go with the Goodridge option. It appears Goodwin Racing no longer do international postage but there are several on e-bay who do & the Goodridge clutch line is available in Sydney.

I bought my brake lines from Brakes Direct, which fit with some minor stuffing around.

Will probably get a braided clutch line from Ric Shaw with the clutch & flywheel kit :)

Let us know how you go Paul - killing it with the Nats prep :thumbright:
