Re: Mazda recalls website

No Andrew, I misread your previous message as well. I thought you were saying I got the info from a letter Mazda sent to me about my RX8. And yes, my first post added little other than to note supply issues for manufacturers, so fair comment.

Re: Mazda recalls website

So it turns out that a number of dealers are replacing faulty airbags with newer faulty airbags to try and gain some time. Logic being that the airbags are fine for a few years before they're an iasue. I would say that this is what's happened with you. Yes, essentially there are supply issues for t...

Thank you immensely for all your efforts with the RX8 Nationals Sayan and Kev, much appreciated! Yes, it is very sad, given the history of this annual event ever since the car was released. As to this quote: " We have spoken to another car club who has shown interest to run their own track day on th...

Re: HEL braided brake & clutch lines

Paul, I went for the Goodridge brake lines on my RX8. Thumbs up from me in terms of quality and performance. Bought them from Goodwin Racing: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Performance-Part/60-1330.html But the quality of the HEL product looks good as well. Do not forget your braided clutch li...

Re: Coilover upgrade

I have Ohlins Road & Track coliovers on my RX7, they are very good but expensive. On my RX8 I had Bilstein PSS9s, brilliant for the track and street, high quality, easy to live with and far less $$$. And I did a reasonable amount of track work on them. I would of got them for my FD except Bilstein n...

Re: 2016 Rx8 Nationals @ Winton Motor Raceway

Kev, congratulations to you and Sayan for another professionally run RX8 Nationals. The day was an outstanding success, and a testament to how the committee both planned and ran the day. Like many others, I look forward to returning to Winton for another run.

Re: General Chat Thread Part1

Anybody here familiar with the Nitto range of tyres? My current Bridgestone Potenza S001's are getting a bit old, looking to replace. Thinking NT01 / NT05 / INVO. Any input would be appreciated :) I have read good reviews about Nitto tyres from the FDRX7 site. Be warned that NT01 is a semi, with a ...
