Re: Concept Chop - RX.

Yeah I like it.

Looks a bit like a pointy faced R8.

It would be lighter, stiffer across the body and have better engine cooling. Not bad!

Re: GPS Navigation Systems

I have the Navman s90 it is really good, easy to use, gets you where you need to go usually by the most practical route, clear instructions and warnings of upcoming turns, red light and fixed speed cameras. It has a big screen, bluetooth, lots of POI's (restaurants, tourist stuff, atms, petrol stati...

I got mine today, It's kind of a waste - if you are gonna go to the effort of having a changing picture thing you should make it actually do something. A crappy bit of steam and one word different is hardly worth it. Whoever the maketing genious that thought that one up should be sacked. It does get...

The car which I inherited when we got the family mobile still has my wife's plates on and I can't be bothered transferring them over, plus my plates wouldn't suit. So my plates are in a box in storage waiting for me to get a 3 car garage so that I can have something worthy of putting them on. Great ...

Mine was an 05 LP and the sunroof was an extra - either that or the dirty buggers scammed extra dollars out of me for nothing :x I definately had to order it specially.... and then slide down in my seat a bit when I took delivery so my head didn't touch the roof, especially when I had done my hair!!...

This is about the 4th photo I have seen of a burning RX8. And this one isn't even a Sunlight Silver either!! Someone posted video footage of one on the side of the H/way a little while back. I wonder what the deal is? Is it some kind of factory fault? :? Could one of you be next? If you smel...

Ha,

I could carry all your spare tyres and eskies with food and beers!

Nah thanks for the invite but I think I'll just watch from the sidelines - be sure to post up some photos for us though!

Enjoy

MDR,
you should edit your first post and start a list of attendees/maybes etc so everyone can keep a track on who is going without having to read the whole thread + what is on the other forum too.

Good on you for organising - should be a good run!

I'd go but I am 8-less. If anyone wants to lend me their's I would gladly take it for a spin :D Where is everyone ? It was about this time last year that we got 17 cars together for a cruise, where have you all gone? We lost the Nats, surely we can at least pull some cars together for a leisurely dr...

How are the withdrawal symptoms going....
I swear you "owners" are taunting me - I saw 5 RX8's whilst driving around today. 2 Blacks, 2 reds, and 1 silver.

Otherwise the symptoms are ok. :D :) :(

I recommend Eagars Newstead,

They always look after me well there, no rip offs or bad experiences for me.

Speak to Rick - he is a courteous, friendly and seemingly decent bloke.

Who did you speak to at Eagers Newstead ? Rick - the younger bloke in the service dept is a decent bloke and always looked after me very well. Did the price they quoted include fitting ?? (probably not) Can't see why they had to order from melb - bit odd. Decent saving you found yourself - Good sleu...
