I'm not going to be able to make it. When is there one at QLD raceway or the next one at lakeside?

Good luck to those taking part tomorrow. Take it easy if it is wet

Well we had a enjoyable and safe day. Nocty and myself drove in the end, with Noddi_76 providing helpful support. Our partners were there as well.

Only our first session was dry, and the balance of the day was quite wet. We nevertheless had an enjoyable time practicing lines etc in the wet for the balance of the afternoon (with times about 10 seconds slower than normal). Group sizes were very small, between 2 and 5 per session, which was a real plus.

Glad you had fun. RX 8 does well in the wet especially with the stock tyre. I remember one year at QR I had similar times against Evos

All those wet laps at the 2012 Nationals stood you in good stead then :thumbright:
Glad you all had a safe & enjoyable day

Thanks Ben, it was quite enjoyable. That was part of the first session, and the only session that was dry. Things got much slower and riverbound from then on. Love the guy who takes his Forrester GT out, good on him. The chap in front of me had a Toyota CRX, heavily modified, which arrived on a trailer. The Black Lotus had a supercharged engine. This footage is particularly good for demonstrating (with only mild professionalism  ) the competitive ability of the RX8 under brakes and through corners. Best of all, and as we all know, the 8 is extremely forgiving of driver mistakes.

I agree, it is a very good example of what a RX-8 can do with a few mods too help.
