Hi All,

Im new here, just bought a rx8 about a month ago. It's a black 2003 model.
Havn't done anything to the car yet but list of small things are to come.
Currently has:
-3" full exhaust
-20 x 8.5 Koya R1 (too big not wide enough)
-MazdaSpeed Kit.

To Come:
-HSD Coilovers (in 2weeks)
-New front bar (as someone took it out in a carpark with their trailer and wont return calls... insurance is covering it)
-New wheels...undecided but something like 18x9.5 18x10.5

Currently it's my daily but ill probs do about 160kms a week or so.

Welcome to the club baydogg.

Coilovers are a grand idea. And good to see your going to 18s... you will save a packet on a similar quality tyre set up.

Hey and welcome. Like the design of the wheels but I bet they are heavy.
Fellow Rotor fans gather now for our daily prayer.....

As I lay rubber down the street,
I pray for traction I can keep,
But if I spin and start to slide,
Please dear god protect my sweet ride.

Amen

Bridgeport have been tried by a few in the past and no noticeable gains reported.

I have noticed some reports of unexplained overheating as a result of bridgeporting. I would be interested to see how you fare. Most are just going for a bit of tidy up of the ports as the stock is large enough.

Thanks. Chris who owns Dalton motors says why not. Since my engine needs a rebuild cause it doesn't run. New housings needed, pretty much every single seal. There's no chrome on the housings aswell. He said he can bridgeport tune new ecu..so on. And wont be much extra. Already looking at 5000 roughly.
