So I bought an RX8 today

Post by jd16 » Sun Apr 28, 2013 8:20 pm

Hi All!

Just purchased an 03 RX8 in Perth today. Just wanted to say hi and a big thanks for all the useful material on this forum. Was hesitant at first on getting one but the drive home sure put a huge smile on my face!

:D

Hi & welcome jd16
Believe me the smile will not fade :D
Now all we need are details & pics of your new ride

Thank you all!

03' Model, black, mostly stock really, about 115,000kms on the clock, engine rebuilt at 85,000kms. It's lowered slightly and has an Xforce system :)

Have finally got round to taking some pics after a good polish (it has been raining here in WA)

Thoughts after owning it for 2 weeks now: absolutely loving it! Sure it drinks fuel but who buys a RX8 for fuel economy :p

Are there any WA RX8 owners still active on this forum?! (seems so dead)

Jay

Welcome mate,

There are a few WA members but you're correct - not many.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Cheers,
Stef.

Nice and clean, good pickup. Get some CQuartz DLUX for the trim around the exhausts. It will clean and darken them for up to 12 months
Fellow Rotor fans gather now for our daily prayer.....

As I lay rubber down the street,
I pray for traction I can keep,
But if I spin and start to slide,
Please dear god protect my sweet ride.

Amen

I dont normally bump old posts. But just came across this. Back in September i bought your old rx8 JD. Since tyem the smile hasnt been off my face. Such a well maintained car and continues to be. Some big plans for it this year. She'll be unrecognizable.
