Sandown Sprint 9th of May

Hi all. I have entered a super sprint at sandown on the 9th of May. If you get a chance to, come down and say hi. For anyone that wants to enter the event is open to anyone that is a member of a cams affiliated club and holds a ls2 license. It is being run by the Alfa Romeo Car Club of Victoria. Tampered days are fantastic! Anyone wanting to get on the track without a cams license should go with Kev. Not too much to enter either.

So far 42 cars have entered. There is a mix of alfa romeo and the typical mazda mx5s as well as a a few s13s a couple of sports sedans gt3 lambo and porsche, clubmans and elfins. Should be a cracking good day. The weather looks like it may be a bit wet. Fingers crossed that it isn't.

Got the event entry list. Of the 94 cars entered, there are 39 in my class which is 2L and over non alfa. Other than mine, there is one more rx8 entered. I'll be up against gtr skylines, lotus exiges, porsche 911 turbos, s13s, hsvs, evos, wrxs, minis and a lambo.

Throw in a bit of rain...... It is going to be an interesting day!

Weathers shocking for tomorrow at Winton so we didn't enter in the end. Do you have a garage for the day? I may come down

Na I didn't get a garage. I'll be with a mate that has a s13 sports sedan. He usually brings a small marquee

So finished up just breaking into the 1:30s. Stayed dry all day. Absolutely cracking day.
